Registered counsellor and Psychotherapist for ADHD autism therapy neurodivergent therapy in Horsham Inner Growth Pathways
You're not broken — you're wired differently
Neurodivergence, including conditions like ADHD and autism, is not a deficit to be fixed, but a difference to be understood. My approach as a registered counsellor is founded on this principle. Therapy is not about changing who you are, but about developing strategies to navigate challenges while harnessing your inherent strengths. This process can bring profound relief and self-acceptance, especially for those diagnosed later in life.
I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to this specialised area of psychotherapy. Having navigated life with a neurodivergent mind myself, I have a deep understanding of the exhaustion from masking and the pain that comes from feeling perpetually out of sync with your environment.
Who I work with
I work with adults who identify as neurodivergent, including people with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or combinations of these. I also work with people who suspect they may be neurodivergent but haven't yet received a formal diagnosis — a diagnosis is not required to begin therapy.
Common themes that come up in this work include: the impact of years of masking; burnout; chronic self-criticism rooted in feeling "not enough"; anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties connected to neurodivergence; and the complex mix of grief and relief that can come with a late diagnosis.
My approach
I work relationally, drawing on Transactional Analysis and humanistic principles. That means our work is collaborative and led by you — your experience, your pace, your goals. I adapt how I work to suit the way your mind works, not the other way around.
I offer face-to-face neurodivergent-affirming therapy in Horsham, West Sussex, and online sessions across the UK.
